Wells and Wellington (1985:12) erroneously placed this species in the genus Chelymys Gray (1844: see Comment under Emydura); they also named the Cooper Creek - Strzelecki Creek populations of southwestern Queensland as C. windorah, but without a diagnosis or an adequate description. |
