- "Unknown, said to be England" (in error) according to Stejneger and Barbour (1943:203); designated as "Lancaster [Lancaster Co.], Pennsylvania" [USA] by Mittleman (1945:171); designated as "vicinity of New York City" [New York, USA] by Schmidt (1953:99; in error, according to Smith and Smith, 1979:424)
