- "from the Upper Missouri ... and from Iowa"; erroneously restricted to "Council Bluffs [Pottawattamie Co.], Iowa" [USA], by Smith and Taylor (1950:36) and to "junction of the Platte and Missouri River" [Nebraska, USA] by Schmidt (1953:95); restriction corrected to "Burlington [Des Moines Co.], Iowa" [USA] by lectotype designation of Smith and Smith (1979:587)
